A Customized Living Environment for Seniors, Where a Nurturing “Age in Place” Philosophy is Always in Place

Since 2006, Northern Horizon Senior Living has been providing seniors of Roseau County with fully-supportive, independent senior living. Our professionally-trained staff, our full range of services and our one-floor physical layout ensures that seniors are comfortable, safe and well taken care of.

Since 2006

Northern Horizon was built in 2006 with a grant from the Minnesota Department of Health, in partnership with Ageless Care Incorporated, which is the home health care provider for Northern.

Professional, licensed staff

Our staff at Northern Horizon Senior Living includes RNs, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), medication management-trained staff, licensed social workers and nutritionists. We also have access to hospice services, physical therapists, dietary and pharmacy consultants, occupational and speech therapists, and more. We have are 23 staff members overall.

Mission

Our mission at Northern Horizon is to provide customized living while ensuring an Age in Place environment – one where our seniors feel at home, are safe and comfortable, and where all of their basic needs are looked after.

Facility and visiting hours

Our residents, of course, are free to come and go as they please, but the doors of our facility are locked from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Visitors are welcome any time!

Pricing

Our apartments are affordable, and include many services and amenities, plus a full-meal service at mid day. Please contact us for more information.
